Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a physical sensation characterized as a euphoric, warm, and pleasurable tingling, usually in the scalp, head, and in strong cases, the body and limbs. It is usually triggered by close and personal attention from another person (like getting a haircut or having someone explain something to you and/or show you something in a relaxed atmosphere).
With the example of a haircut, the trigger is usually more about the close attention and less about the physical contact. Though, physical contact CAN be a trigger with some people, and can usually enhance or prolong the experence with most people.
If you are one of the lucky few to be able to experience these feelings, you might already know that it can work very well in conjunction with cannabis use, (especially when paired with an indica strain). And while cannabis use and sexual pleasure tend to go togther VERY well also, feelings of ASMR usually get "cancelled out" once sex enters into the picture. But not always! There are indeed some who can enjoy all three simultaneously.
